Working in the world of reason made me increasingly curious about everything numbers could not explain.

Before ZENYA RAYA, I lived across very different worlds.

I spent a decade in television, and years around jewellery, aesthetics and brands.

Later, in Singapore, I entered the world of family offices and investment management.

Finance made me trust structure, data, probability and risk.

It also made one thing increasingly clear:

A human life cannot be explained by numbers alone.

We may know how to manage assets without knowing how to hold emotion.

We may calculate risk without knowing where we truly want to go.

I did not turn away from reason.

I began looking for another way of understanding that could stand beside it.

Eastern traditions of time, change, people and nature slowly became part of that search.

I began breaking down and reorganising complex ideas, asking how an old language of understanding could become something contemporary people could genuinely use.

Life Code and Zenya gradually emerged from this process.

At the same time, I kept moving toward material and craft:

scent, wood, crystal, gemstone, and the traces of human hands that cannot be fully replaced by machines.

Eventually I realised that these journeys were asking the same question:

How do we understand the person within,
and the natural world beyond?

ZENYA RAYA was born between them.

Not to tell you what your answer should be.

But to offer another way of seeing yourself—and to give that understanding a form that can be scented, touched and worn.
